Nuclear Project Controls Manager: Contract, Leicester, Duration: +12-months, Rate: c£45/hour Ltd

The Role:
As a Project Controls Manager in the nuclear industry, you will be responsible for helping to define and build the local procedures and processes for project controls within the client business area.

Duties will involve:
You will have a key position within the client’s projects team with responsibilities including (but not limited to);
Leading the Project Controls team
Work closely with the programme and project management team to ensure the provision of the highest quality project controls support to satisfy programme specific commercial or customer requirements
Liaison with the Programme / Project Management team to ensure optimum cost and schedule performance through the provision of the following functions; Lifetime Plan / Bid Development / Detailed Delivery Schedule - Scope, Schedule, Cost Estimates and Risk Management plans
Ensure Programme Controls are consistently applied across all aspects of the programme and manage the development of a comprehensive and robust Risk Register addressing all risks (threats and opportunities) to the delivery of the defined work scope.

The Candidate:
You will have proven experience as a Project Controls Manager in a nuclear environment, as well as the following;
ONC (or equivalent) in Engineering (minimum) or recognised apprenticeship in appropriate discipline
BS EN ISO 9001 operations experience
A minimum of 3 years site installation/maintenance in an appropriate industry sector
MUST have strong Primavera P6 knowledge and skill
Required to have natural/corrected near distance acuity in at least one eye.
