Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side NDA / Sellafield Ltd in order to recruit a number of Nuclear Site Support / Doc Control / Planners to work on 12months contracts based at Sellafield CA20.
As a Nuclear Site Support / Doc Control / Planner your duties and responsibilities will include:

Generating and controlling plant instructions including operator instructions, alarm response instructions, emergency operating instructions etc.
Delivery of plant administration requirements.
Supporting plant modification proposals and execution.
Interprets instructions and produces good quality output safely and to time.
As appropriate, participates in the preparation of technical reports and assessments.
Able to deal with queries, problems and anomalies within set guidelines and proactively respond to changing plant conditions.
Supporting investigations of operations abnormal events in order to help identify and correct the root cause of the event.
Carry out designated work packages to standards of safety, cost, quality and time.
Complies with all legislative, regulatory and company policy standards and procedures e.g. safety, quality, risk, security appropriate to the role.
To support overall nuclear safety, as well as other safety including conventional, industrial, radiological and environmental, by ensuring all work activities are to site standards, policies, processes and procedures.
Delivering nominated roles and requirements, such as Legionella Coordinator role and Building. Management requirements (Fire, COSHH, Asbestos, Safety Signage, Local/House Rules, Workplace Health and Safety, EHS&Q and Waste Management).
Identifying and reporting poor standards in performance or delivery.
Where appropriate, develop the skills and abilities of others for the benefit of the company.
Ensures detailed work records are maintained in accordance with procedures.
Proficient in all areas of Microsoft Office.
Must be well organised and a self-starter, able to work with limited supervision.
A team player with strong interpersonal and trouble-shooting skills.
Must be a strong multi-tasker and must excel at coping with conflicting priorities and deadlines.
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
Must be a highly motivated with an attention to detail.
Enthusiasm for challenge and new initiatives.
Nuclear sector experience.
Ability to work either alone or as part of a team.
Clear and effective communication skills.
Classified/Monitored Worker or able to attain this.
Able to wear PPE, Respirator, PVC etc
