6-month Contract for a SC Cleared Permit to Work Engineer to work on a nuclear construction project in Derby

The Role: 
Ensure the permit to work system is maintained throughout the construction and commissioning phases of the project. 
To ensure all work activities carried out on the construction site have a valid permit 
To ensure all work activities are de-conflicted. 
Ensure safe working practices are followed at all times. 
To ensure all work is undertaken with a valid and approved risk assessment and method statement (RAMS) pack. 
Ensure only those authorised to accept permits withdraw them. 
Ensure all permits are signed by the relevant authorised signatory only.

The Candidate: 
Recognised Health & Safety Certification (NEBOSH/IOSH) 
3/4 Years + experience of permit system management and works control
Nuclear Experience preferable
CSCS Card Holder (Or equivalent) 
Good understanding of electrical/mechanical installation & testing. 
Familiar with site licence conditions 
Familiar with CDM regulations 
Legislation, standards and codes of practice for Construction activities 
Safe working practices on a construction site
SC Clearance (Minimum)
