Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side Balfour Beatty in order to recruit a Planner to work on a 12month contract in Warrington.
As a Planner your duties and responsibilities will include:
The BEP Joint Venture project will safely design and deliver a Plant and the works in accordance with the requirements of the contract to enable conditioning of wastes from the various donor plants, carried out in line with the Employer’s needs and to the satisfaction of stakeholders in the Box Encapsulation Project 
(BEP).

Key Responsibilities
Area Planner reporting to the Area Lead Planner and supporting the Outcell Area Project Manager. Responsible for the scheduling and integration of EPCC deliverables into the BEP programme in line with BEP project controls procedures. Accountable for timely assessment and monitoring of area specific self-delivery and subcontract schedules and their reflection in the Live Schedule. 
Project Activities
Carry out monthly schedule update with the engineering and procurement team incorporating progress from vendor programmes into the BEP live programme. Attend Plan of the Week meetings with area project team to facilitate early identification of risks / opportunities. Maintain a robust and integrated EPCC schedule.
Ensure the KPI for the timely acceptance / non acceptance of vendor programmes is maintained
Review vendor programmes submitted in support of Compensation Events and carry out 
substantiated impact assessments
Prepare package progress reports for the Package Manager

Experience & Qualifications
Experience and track record in updating of progress on Engineering and project deliverables.
Experience and track record monthly updating of Project schedule including resource / cost forecasting.
Experience and track record providing monthly progress reporting including full EV analysis of period performance.
Experience and track record in development of Tender Plans, resource and cost loaded as required.
Experience of process writing and template creation e.g. change control, standard templates to cover engineering lifecycle from Needs all the way through to Commissioning and Handover.
Excellent Communication skills – both Written and Oral with Client, Stakeholders, colleagues etc. Report Writing Skills. Presentation Skills well developed.
Wide variety of experience in the Engineering and Construction Industry 
Organising and presenting interactive planning workshops for development of baseline schedules and change management schedules.
Manage the weekly and monthly updates of project schedules including change management. 
Experience of managing self-delivery of EPCC delivery as well as packages of work on EPCC projects
Proven track record of successfully working on NEC3 projects
Experience in Project / Customer Reporting and Change Control
Experience and demonstrated abilities of working as part of a collaborative team, in a multi-discipline environment
Experience in Mechanical and/or EC&I services
Experience within nuclear sector
Preferable to hold a Degree, minimum 15 years experience in Project delivery
