Planner/Scheduler; LONG TERM 18 months contract - Bridgewater, Somerset

The Role: 
Planner/scheduler, to work with the Environment Agencies asset management team, managing numerous small projects at one time.
Duties will include: 
Carrying out scheduling of resources, procurement, monitoring of work to cost/quality and general performance reporting.
You will also be responsible for communicating with landowners and the public to ensure awareness of the works to be undertaken.
In addition you will ensure all equipment/materials are available on site as specified so that work can be completed in line with required standards.

The Candidate: 
You will have vocational qualifications/training in a related discipline such as; civil engineering or construction. 
Experience in the scheduling and planning of routine works in civil engineering or water/gas utilities would be ideal.
You will have both excellent IT and communication skills.
