Planning Applications Officers; 4 month Contract; working for on behalf of a Local Authority in Liverpool

The Role:
Assessing and processing of all scales of planning applications and relating to consent to display advertisements and demolish/alter Listed Buildings/Trees etc.
The pursuance of enforcement action in conjunction with the enforcement team in relation to unauthorised development and non-compliance with planning conditions.
Dealing with appeals against planning decisions, including the preparation of the Council’s case and the presenting of evidence at Public Inquiries and hearings, where appropriate.

The Candidate:
Previous experience in developers Planning Application Management preferred
Good communication skills and customer service
Local Authority experience is beneficial.
