The Role:
Project Planning Engineer working within the Flight Simulation and Synthetic Trainers Project Team.
As a Planning Engineer your role and Key areas of responsibility for this post include:

Working with the DCS&S Project Manager, development and maintenance of the DCS&S Project Schedule, using Microsoft Project and EPM 2010, and WBS.
Working on Baseline and Cost Model as required.
Providing support and assistance with the Risk Management of the DCS&S Project.
Assist in the delivery and planning Quarterly Risk review meetings.
Use and knowledge of CMIS & Sentinel.


The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Planning Engineer with at least 5 years experience working within MOD / Defence related organisations.
You will have Project Management experience, scheduling using Microsoft Project & EPM 2010.
Experience of Risk Management using ARM and Project/ Business reporting via CMIS / Sentinel.
Planning & scheduling, including Work Breakdown Structures.
Risk Management experience.
Progress monitoring and reporting experience.
Information and Communications Management experience.
You should hold qualifications: APMP/ Prince 2, HNC / Degree

Security Clearance Level Required – SC Security Clearance ESSENTIAL.
