Planning Engineer – Maritime Defence projects; Long Term Fixed Term Contract

The Role:
Experienced Planning Engineer required to join a team engaged on prestigious international Maritime Defence projects.  
Working within the planning team you will be responsible for the development of the Project Planning and Cost Control functions to various projects. 

Additional duties may include: 
Maintenance of the budget inventory and in provision of a cost collection service. 
Provision of routine and detailed reports supporting the requirements of ES TA 
Co-ordination of the activities of Labour Capture inputs. 
As required supervision and management of Administrators/Cost Engineers.

The Candidate: 
You will be an experienced and qualified Project Planner with a min 5 years experience, and qualified to HND/Degree level in a technical, engineering or business subject. 
You will have gained experience in a highly technical/engineering environment (naval, marine, defence, nuclear, oil and gas) 
You will have good communication and analytical skills and be fully computer literate. 
You will have experience and a good working knowledge of windows-based computer applications, including an understanding of relational database methodology. 
You will be an experienced Primavera P6 user.

Who will this suit? 
This role is ideally suited to planning engineers with c5years post qualification planning experience who are keen to gain experience on defence/nuclear projects related projects.    

The roles are based in Plymouth and are offered on a fixed term contract basis and offer attractive remuneration (telephone to discuss).
