The Role:
Our client BBUK Rail are looking to recruit an experienced PLANNING ENGINEER to work on a contract basis in Newport South Wales. This contract will run initially for 4 months with possible extensions!
Your duties will include;
Production and maintenance of KPI’s documentation and P6 programmes for all projects. 
Ensure the accuracy of programmes.
Report fully on the position of Programmes.
To mitigate/solution any clashes and detail various scenarios to help put the programme back on track.
Liaise with Design Houses and Construction teams to gain validity in overall position.
Ensure the interface between Design and Construction programmes are in sync and to foresee any potential clashes.
Be able to re position the programmes should any issues arise and come up with the best solution to mitigate.
Ensure consistency across all Design Programmes and to form a reporting suite to cover all needs.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Planning Engineer with at least 5-10 years experience within the RAIL industry sector
Qualified to HNC / HND / Degree
You will be fully proficient with Primavera P6 and have an Engineering Background (preferably Mechanical) 
Excellent Organisational & Communication skills and Good Leadership skills
