Planning Manager - 6months+ contract - MOD, Submarines, P6 - SC Clearance - Barrow in Furness

The Role:
As the Planning Manager you will be responsible for leading team of 3-4 direct planner reports who are high SQEP planners
You will report to BAE person who leads the programme analysis team on Successor programme 
You will be involved in consolidating on monthly basis complex, detailed schedules from BAE, Rolls Royce , Babcock and MoD (process is performed by current team) – performing analysis of schedule data periodically.

The Candidate:
Experienced Planning/Project Controls Manager with detailed knowledge of planning. 
Knowledge and experience of planning large projects/programmes in defence/construction using P6 defence knowledge.
Good understanding of evm and critical path analysis.
Ability to lead team , present to senior stakeholders, have strong influencing skills to change and improve some of the current practices.
