The Role:
PMO Controls Planner to establish and maintaining the overall time plan for the Highways England Change Programme, including: - assuring the activities are in the plan - monitoring, reporting and prompting control of performance against it.
Duties will include:
You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the overall time plan for the Change Programme, including:
·Assuring the activities in the plan are monitored and reporting and prompting control of   performance against it
·With others develop and agree the work breakdown structure for the programme. Ensure that the schedule hierarchy and schedule structure reflects the WBS.
·Prepare and maintain a robust and realistic integrated master schedule for the total programme, highlighting critical milestones relating to key activities, deliverables and interfaces.
·Clarify and maintain the visibility of programme interface requirements and dependencies; ensure that responsibilities for the management of interfaces are clearly assigned and understood.
·Collate regular and ad-hoc reports to provide a timely overview of programme time performance on an exception basis.
·Develop and present regular forecasts of anticipated milestone achievements; maintain an up-to-date view of the expected completion date for the Programme; recommend programme level actions where appropriate to mitigate potential time over-runs. 

The Candidate:
You will be qualified to HNC/Degree level and have a Project Management Qualification, APM or equivalent.
Your Industry experience will include the Highways/Infrastructure sectors.
You will have experience of developing and managing complex programme plans and be expert user and have accreditation in Microsoft Project / Primavera P6
Ability to develop and prepare dashboard reporting.
Able to deliver outputs to tight deadlines in a highly pressured environment demonstrating flexibility, determination and resilience.
Must have excellent Inter-personal skills with ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
Ability to capture changes and translate the impacts, identify risks and opportunities.
