Portfolio Planner - Corsham - Contract 12 months - Rate £384.75/day UMBRELLA

Wilde Recruitment are working alongside the MOD in Corsham to recruit a Portfolio Planner.
This is a contract position initially for 12 months. This role does fall inside IR35 so an Umbrella company will have to be used.
As a Portfolio Planner you will be expected to:
Plan and track ‘Networks’ Programme.
Create and maintain the plan for the programme. The plan must clearly outline the key milestones.
Routine reviews and clear communication of this plan to the core team and regular project updates to senior management is expected.
Promote cross-functional working and get commitment from all key functions needed to enable successful project delivery. Encourages transparency of functional expertise and holds project team members accountable for their delivery.
Maintain plans and schedules for the Portfolio and its contained Programmes and Projects.
Monitor progress and refine plans and schedules, implementing change and configuration control systems as appropriate.
Identification of key variances.
Critical path analysis & trend forecasts.
Liaison with sub-contractors.

Candidate:
You will be an experienced Planner.
You must hold current SC Clearance.
You will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
You will be qualified to HNC / HND / Degree level.
You must have experience working on MOD / Defence projects.
