Portfolio Planner (Defence Sector) – 5mth Cont. £604.99/day (umbrella) – Bristol

The Role:

Portfolio Planner required to join an MoD team based at Abbey wood, Bristol. Successful candidate will be required to operate in a standalone role and be responsible for developing and maintaining all aspects of scheduling activity in the programme of work.

This will include schedule risk analysis and dependency mapping.

Project methodology in use include APM, Prince 2 and Agile. Scheduling must be undertaking for all these in a single unified schedule.

Post holder will also act as the deputy PMO head and be responsible for overseeing the delivery of benefits management, risk management and cost control through a team of individuals.

Candidate

You will be experienced Planner / APM Practitioner and be fully proficient in MS Project, with experience of scheduling in an APM environment

You should have an APM Practitioner Qualification and be able to work in a standalone role.

You will have previous Public Sector Experience, ideally Defence. Due to the nature of the work, current SC level clearance is essential.
