Portfolio Planner - WFH/Bristol - Duration 3 months - Rate c£604/day umbrella.

Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side the MOD to recruit a Portfolio Planner to work on a 3 month contract WFH/Bristol.
As a Portfolio Planner your duties and responsibilities will include:
The role will develop and maintain plans and schedules for the Portfolio and its contained Programmes and Projects. Development of fully resourced and costed Programme plans using data provided by the Portfolio, Programme and Project management teams. Maintain plans and schedules of reporting for the Portfolio. Monitor progress and refine plans and schedules, implementing change and configuration control systems as appropriate. Identify and monitor interdependencies within the Portfolio and contained plans. Provision of progress reports to each Programme Manager, to include performance and schedule information. Identification of key variances within Programmes and presentation of effective and compelling data in support of findings. Critical path analysis and trend forecasts. Provide assistance for Portfolio Manager, Programme Managers and Bid Managers. Other duties as required � including liaison with sub-contractors, collating progress information and project programme updates.

Must be a proficient in MS Project as role will be stand alone and be responsible for developing and maintaining all aspects of scheduling activity in the programme of work. This will include schedule risk analysis and dependency mapping.
Project methodology in use include APM, Prince 2 and Agile. Scheduling must be undertaking for all these in a single unified schedule.
This post will also act as the deputy PMO head and be responsible for overseeing the delivery of benefits management, risk management and cost control through a team of individuals.

Project Leadership Programme - Desirable
APM Practitioner Qualification - Essential

Candidate:
You will be an experienced Planner.
HNC / HND / Degree.
