The Role

Procurement Manager – required with experience of Public Contract Regulations 2015 to join RWM (Radioactive Waste Management) – Harwell – Oxfordshire -working within the Siting and Engagement Team. The RWM team are finalizing the procurement strategy and they require further resource to lead the project in procuring the following scope of services. 
 

• Project Control and Technical Integrator 
• Geo-scientific investigation 
• Security and Safeguards 
• Transport Assessment 
• Safety Assessments including nuclear 
• Engineering Feasibility 
• Environment 
• Community 
• Cost estimation

The Candidate: 
They are seeking a Procurement Manager with a background in public procurement – conversant with the Public Contract Regulations 2015; especially the restricted procedure and use to supporting teams with hosting supplier days, developing tender evaluation methodologies (criteria, weightings), managing tender evaluations, writing up award recommendations, drawing up contracts, etc. 

You will ideally have experience in construction especially pre-construction services. 
In addition, you will have experience in working with the NEC suite – be used to working with legal teams to help develop appropriate legal controls and be experienced in Contract Management.
