Procurement Manager; 6 Months+ Contract; Worsley, Manchester; c£280.0/day Ltd
KEY Skills: Procurement, Supplier Liaison, MCIPS, GDSP, Utilities, Subcontractor Procurement 

The Role:
Based with Balfour Beatty Utilities Solutions in Manchester, you will source and identify new subcontractors to work on the GDSP contract; issuing and assessing tenders, negotiating rates and terms, and progressing through the onboarding process.

Duties will involve:
As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for purchasing of technical products, materials and commodity items as well as;
·Requisition lifecycle
·Development of new strategies
·Purchase Order data gathering
·On Hold report processing
·Data gathering
·Supplier liaison

The Candidate: 
You will have proven experience in a busy procurement team as well as the following;
Degree in Business or Master’s in Supply Chain Management
Member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply
At least 10 years’ purchasing background
·Ability to use MS Office suite, particularly strong Excel skills
·The ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines under pressure 
·Good arithmetical skills and numerical accuracy
·Excellent, clear communication and negotiation skills
·Be commercially aware
