Procurement Officer - £150/day NEG - Potters Bar - 5month Contract

Purpose of the role:
The main purpose of this role is to support the Agency’s Procurement Managers, this will involve:
Ensuring the Agency’s procurement pipeline is accurate and up to date. Liaising with Procurement Managers to plan the time lines of new and repeat tenders and further competitions.
To assist with, and to run procurement competitions (generally under OJEU and further competitions) through the Agency’s eSourcing system (Bravo).
Maintain accurate contracts and catalogues on the Oracle system with the support of the teams procurement Managers
Work with Suppliers and internal customers to investigate and resolve contract queries promptly to ensure appropriate actions are taken in line with Agency’s procurement policies and procedures.
Provide administrative procurement support through provision of data collection, posting of contractual information using procurement e-tools: Contracts Finder, Bravo, Oracle.
Assist in the operation of the agency eSourcing and contract management system. Maintain constructive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
Undertake data analysis for the project managers, presenting data with analysis and proposals.
Good practical experience of using Finance/Purchasing systems e.g. Oracle, Bravo, Microsoft package.
You will have several years experience working in the Public Sector.
You will be ideally be CIPS Level 3
You will have good communication skills
You will be IT literate
