The Role:
Our client is the MOD / DIO based at RAF Wyton Cambridgeshire.
They are looking for an experienced Procurement Project Manager to work on a contract basis, initially for 2 months.

The role/duties which may be involved are:
The successful candidate will be proactive, self starting and tenacious in the pursuit of task completion and schedule adherance.
They will over see and drive, as the Major Projects and Programmes (MPP) project manager, the procurement of a Steady State Programme Office for the USVF Infrastructure Programme.
A good understanding of public procurement is required, as is a working understanding of the principles of Programme Management.  Role includes identifying allocating and then driving completion of tasks by team.
Team includes IPO SMEs, Commercial staff to run competition, Requirements Managers to create post competition Business Case, and Senior Programme Leadership whose sign off of requirements is required.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Project Manager.
You will have PROCUREMENT experience.
You will have excellent communication skills both written and oral.
