Procurement Specialist; £40 - £50/hr; 6 months+ contract; Daresbury Cheshire

The Role:
Our client CNSLTD are looking to recruit a Procurement Specialist to work on a contract basis for initially 6 months based in Daresbury Cheshire.
Your duties may include:
Working with key stakeholders, account teams and suppliers to drive operational execution of projects, bids and other critical business activities. 
You will have close involvement with suppliers & stakeholders to identify and implement the most cost effective and technically efficient supply solutions.
Be responsible for the sourcing and tendering processes in accordance with agreed project and/or programme deliverables.
Leading negotiations with suppliers.
Leading or supporting supplier performance monitoring and development initiatives;
Close liaison with Quality Assurance, Project Management, Engineering and Planning.
Ensuring a strong health, safety and environmental ethos is applied.
Project or business planning activities.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Procurement specialist with at least 5-10years experience.
You will be qualified to at least HNC / HND or Degree level.
Ideally a member of CIPS.
You will have experience of NEC3 contracts.
You will have good communication and people skills.
You will be computer literate.
