The Role:
The role of the Production Manager is to:
Plan and track production activities including mechanical manufacturing,
Assembly of RF modules including waveguide and PCB modules,
RF testing at module and receiver-level,
Qualification testing at external test houses.

Duties will include:
Inform the Project Manager of resource conflicts or over-allocations, to the person/machine/day level, and identify impact and possible mitigation strategies, to include additional resource if required
Plan required equipment maintenance to minimise schedule impact
Schedule test activities with external test providers (EMC, ESD, mechanical)

The Candidate:
You will be qualified to HND.
Two or more years’ experience in a Production Management role, planning the work of small manufacturing teams (less than 15 people) at the person/machine/day level
Experience in use of appropriate software tools, e.g. Microsoft Project, to plan and manage production activities and resources at the person/machine/day level
Experience / knowledge of electronics / RF equipment production processe
Experience / knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes
Experience of working in a space / aerospace production environment
Experience of working in a clean room
Experience of planning external production testing e.g. EMC, ESD, environmental.
