Programme Manager - Rosyth - Duration 6 months - Rate c£80/hr umb

Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side Babcock Naval Marine in order to recruit a Programme Manager to work on a 6 month contract.
As a Programme Manager your duties and responsibilities will include:
Extensive recent and relevant experience in a defence, maritime or nuclear business sector 
Full project lifecycle experience from bid phase through to close out.

Knowledge of the following;
Ideally a bachelor's degree in engineering / project / construction management or a related field;
A postgraduate qualification is also desirable, as is full membership in a professional body such as RINA, IMechE, IMarEst; INucE;
A minimum of five years in a Programme Management position;
Have a Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Practitioner qualification
Be APM qualified preferably to Registered Project Professional (RPP).
Submarine systems and equipment

Describe the size and scope of the job e.g. budgets, other amounts/work volumes e.g. commercial contract or project value typically managed within the job.
Responsible for delivery of Major SM Projects ranging in value from £1m to £20m including subcontract budgets of £5m
Volumes of work/numbers of tasks per annum – 150,000 hrs.  Ranging from 12,000-120,000 per project 
Up to three projects per annum (one or two  in execution phase and one or two in planning phase)
Team size :25 – 40 depending on project load.
