Project Controls Manager – Exciting long term contract in Nuclear industry based in Cumbria

The Role:
Our client requires a Project Controls Manager for a nuclear project in Cumbria on a 12 month contract, reviewing and evaluating programme, project and routine SLC progress and performance reports. You will provide critical oversight of SLC plans and performance in order to inform the NDA Assurance Plan. You will participate in the assurance review and provide assistance in the analysis of SLC outputs. As Project Controls Manager you will deliver programme of Value for Money validation activities and undertake data analysis to identify positive and negative trends in expenditure versus budget.

The Candidate:
You must be a Project Control Manager with experience in project management, project controls, scheduling, cost engineering and estimating.
You should be educated to degree standard, preferably in a related field such as Engineering or Science.
You will be a member of an accredited professional body related to Project Controls activities.
You must have experience of engagement with large, complex business environments, highly regulated organisations, private industry, professional services or consultancy.
You should have Programme/Project management experience.
You will have clear communication, leadership, team working and motivational skills.
