The Role:
Dstl brings together the defence and security S&T community, including industry, academia, wider government and international partners, to provide sensitive and specialist S&T services to the Ministry of Defence and wider government.
Dstl have two openings for an SC-cleared Project Coordinator, one at Dstl Porton Down near Salisbury, the other at Dstl Fort Halstead near Sevenoaks in Kent.

Duties will involve:
The successful candidate will be called upon to;
Maintain the project documentation and information to provide control and ensure availability of records in accordance with the Dstl management systems and policies. 
Act as the first point of contact, responding to internal requests relating to the project documentation, providing and/or coordinating information for corporate requirements. 
Coordinate the planning and scheduling of project management reviews, liaising with all relevant project team members and customers. 
Liaise with internal and external customers and stakeholders, as required and directed by the Project Manager.

The Candidate: 
Due to the sensitive nature of the work involved, and the need for successful candidates to commence the role quickly, active SC clearance is needed for this position.
Additionally, you’ll ideally have a recognised project management qualification such as APM or PRINCE2, as well as an understanding and awareness of full project life cycle.
Importantly, you will have demonstrable experience of working within a defence environment including industry, the Ministry of Defence, Armed Forces or other related defence agencies.
