Project Coordinator £300/day DSTL 6 month contract

CURRENT SECURITY CLEARANCE - ESSENTIAL!!!

The Role:
The project relates to Sureswift & Trafalgar Submarines.
Reporting to the project manager you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and documenting appropriate plans and controls for the project in line with the project change life cycle.
As project coordinator you will provide support to the project manager in development of project governance structures, administration of the fortnightly working groups and production of management information to support monthly project boards.
Have a clear understanding of the DSTL's business model.

The Candidate:
You will be qualified to HND/Degree level and have 5 years + experience in project coordination.
Your experience will include: programme planning, schedule management, cost and schedule risk analysis, earned value and project controls.
You will have good written and verbal communication skills, budgeting and resource allocation and have the ability / experience to work with senior stakeholders.
Previous defence sector / nuclear / submarine experience is desirable.
You will need to have a flexible approach with good interpersonal skills to facilitate the engagement between the platform project team and the equipment project team.
