Project Engineer

Project Engineer; 6–12 month Contract positions on Environment Agency related projects for Specialists in Civil and Environmental engineering, based in Preston

The Role:
Project Engineer working in asset recovery roles, supporting the Asset Performance team by either delivering planned programmes of annual asset maintenance works or delivering a program of post flood asset repairs by understanding the flooding issues and identifying solutions.
You will be providing support in the development of the technical solution to meet the customer capability needs and ensure that all stakeholders are effectively managed throughout the engineering activities. Discuss and agree system design solutions with Suppliers and ensure that the inherent technical risks associated with them are understood and managed. 
Work with the Project Manager and other engineers to identify the technical stakeholders and ensure that they are identified, engaged and managed throughout the engineering activities.

The Candidate:
The ideal Water Engineer will hold the following skills and experiences:
- BSc, MSc, BEng or MEng in a relevant subject 
- Flood defence asset management. 
- EA (Environment Agency) experience is preferred.
