The Role: 
Project Engineer required to work as part of a team engaged on modifications to dock services at the Plymouth Naval dockyard.  
The team are engaged on a programme of assessments and physical works to maintain and improve the performance of the various systems and structures within the dockyard facility
 
Role Purpose: 
As Project Engineer you will assist the project/package manager in the delivery of project scope. This will include the following; 
 
Support to planning and scheduling of project activities.
Management and delivery of distinct controllable tasks / activities. 
Development of control of work information. 
Production of Risk Assessments / Method Statements and ensuring that all tasks are undertaken in a safe and appropriate manner. 
Management / liaison with sub-contracts in support of delivery of contracted works.
 
The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Project/Senior Engineer with demonstrable experience and knowledge of engineering works, e.g. civil works, mechanical or electrical systems / services. 
You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a project environment and have effective writing and presentation skills.
You will be qualified to HND/Degree or equivalent in an engineering related discipline
Due to the nature of the work valid SC clearance is essential for this role.
