The Role / Candidate: 

Project Engineer - DES Ships - Engineering & Science - Marine Engineering
 
Within the DES Ships organisation, the Safety and Environment Approval Authority (SEAA) post is responsible for supporting the Output Team Leader in delivering their responsibilities for Acquisition Safety and Environmental Protection by: 
Interpreting and applying MOD Policy. 
Ensuring safety and environmental management systems exist, supervising those systems and demonstrating that those systems are compliant.
Appling the principles and techniques of system safety risk assessment and/or environmental impact analysis, interpreting the results and providing informed advice to senior managers and stakeholders.
You will be an experienced Project Engineer with understandings of Engineering & Science - Marine Engineering
'To be used as targeted MCS Safety resource supporting new business, CSM and maintaining the Safety governance across a wide range of In-Service equipments.'
Commissioning, managing and controlling work.
Managing/chairing Safety Panels as delegated by Project Team Leader/Duty Holder.


FULL SC CLEARANCE is essential as this is a MOD requirement working of ships, frigates etc which are currently in service.
