Project Engineer; 6 month + contract, Tidal/flood risk management across London and the Thames Estuary.

The Role:
As Project Engineer you will be responsible for the management and deliver of asset management plans to provide a framework for delivery of tidal flood risk management across London and the Thames Estuary.
Undertaking the appraisal of strategic options for flood risk management.
Working with a team of specialists to develop innovative, sustainable and efficient solutions to programme and budget.
The role is based in London SW1 but will require travel to sites around London and the Thames Estuary.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced degree qualified engineer and ideally be or working toward Chartered status and have experience and knowledge of the flood risk management Industry.

Project overview:
CH2MHill have been appointed to lead the integrated team on the Environment Agency’s 10-year programme to refurbish and replace tidal flood defences in London and the Thames estuary.
AS the integrated Lead with construction partner Balfour Beatty and other specialist contractors they will provide engineering and management support the TEAM2100 programme of works.
TEAM2100 is the Environment Agency’s 10-year programme to refurbish and replace tidal flood defences in London and the Thames estuary.
TEAM2100 will improve tidal flood defences in London, Kent and Essex from 2015 to 2025.
