The Role:
Our client requires a Project Manager to oversee a variety of building projects for Lancashire County Council. You will be required to agree project objectives, providing advice on the management of projects. You will maintain a project risk register, making sure that all the aims of the project are met and ensuring the quality standards are met. As Project Manager you will coordinate various consultants working on a project, overseeing and controlling the project budget and using IT systems to keep track of people and progress. 

The Candidate:
You must have a degree in a construction related discipline
You will have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in project management
You should be a member of an appropriate professional or chartered body. 
You will have good organisational, analytical, team working and communication skills.
You should be diplomatic, able to motivate people, commercial awareness and have management/leadership skills.
