Project Manager; 5month Contract; to£500.0/day (Umbrella); Cambridgeshire

The Role:
The Project Manager will be accountable and responsible for the delivery of infrastructure capital projects under the Overseas team working typically on the Permanent Joint Operating Bases and the Overseas Training Estate.
The post provides SME input to the early development of programmes and projects and is responsible for the implementation of projects through the tender and construction processes.  

Responsibilities:  
Responsible for the delivery of option studies, tender and construction documentation, managing risks in order to drive optimal delivery for MOD. 
Responsible for the management of Contractors for assigned projects (including PSP and Framework Contractors). 
Responsible for engaging with Users, RM, IPs and other DIO functional areas in order to contribute to the effective development of assigned projects. 
Ensure compliance with all MOD and statutory regulations and DIO processes with appropriate governance and management controls. 
Provide SME construction, estate and project delivery advice and support. 
Responsible for accurate financial management and reporting of delegated projects iaw policy including supporting the scrutiny process and the development of project business cases. 
Responsible for project and performance reporting and risk mitigation activities for assigned areas of responsibility.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Project Manager with at least 5-10years experience.
You will be qualified to at least HND / Degree level.
You will have current SECURITY CLEARANCE.
You will have significant experience working on MOD projects.
You will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

As per the amended intermediaries’ legislation (IR35); this assignment is deemed to be a Public Sector off Payroll Assignment inside IR35 for Tax and NI.
This assignment therefore can only be offered via; a tax compliant Umbrella Company.
