Project Manager - £450-£500 / day - Guildford - 6 month Contract

The Role:
Our client Highways England are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to work on contract based in Guildford for a period of aprox 6 months.
The Project Manager should hold or be able to attain a certified accreditation project or programme management qualification at IPMA level C: e.g.: APMPQ or APM PPQ, MSP Advanced Practitioner
Your duties may include:
To plan and manage the delivery of projects.
Managing the performance of a project team, external contractors and consultants and ensuring adherence to effective governance.
Be responsible for quality assurance, health and safety, technical and specialist standards across the supply chain and Highways England.
To ensure successful delivery of agreed project outcomes.
Manage business and / or value management cases for new projects through company defined governance, review and approval gates.
Evidence of managing complex relationships with multiple stakeholders and evidence of skills to influence relationships for positive outcomes.


The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Project Manager with at least 10 years' experience.
You will hold professional qualifications or provide evidence through formal capability assessment to achieve IPMA level C.
You should ideally have experience of Highways England business and organisation.
You will have excellent communication skills; both written and oral.
Excellent 'people skills' to manage and motivate relevant team members.

As per the amended intermediaries’ legislation (IR35); this assignment is deemed to be a Public Sector off Payroll Assignment inside IR35 for Tax and NI.
This assignment therefore can only be offered via; a tax compliant Umbrella Company or on a PAYE basis.
