Project Manager; 4 Month Contract; Winchester; c£500.0/day (Umbrella)

The Role:
Our client MOD / DIO are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to work on contract based in Winchester. The Project Manager should hold a Construction qualification to L5 (HNC/HND or higher, or a Chartered Construction Professional (CEng, RIBA, RICS, CIOB, or equivalent) AND/OR 5 years relevant Construction Project Management experience.

Your duties will include:
a. Supporting the DIO Requirements Manager to capture, track and record existing and future end-user / customer changes to requirements. Bring the System Requirements Document (SRD) upto date and maintain it in a fit-for-purpose state. 
b.Act as interface with project Sponsor on diversion of IT/Telcomms links, vacating and isolating existing buildings for handing to the Developer for redevelopment. 
b. Act as interface with College occupants to de-conflict construction operations and ensure that college training continues uninterrupted. 
c. Act in the DIO Commisioning and Assurance role to ensure that the external professional project mamagement team deliver their outputs which includes the provision of an integrated support team to manage the Developer contract. 
d. Acting as interface with MOD’s FM contractors and DIO Service Delivery team regarding both construction and future operating and maintenance. 
e. Co-ordination of interested parties in the handovers of new buildings, and subsequent fitting out by the customer. and its contractors (IT/Telecoms, furniture, etc.), ahead of the occupants and their equipment moving in. 

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Project Manager with at least 5-10 years experience.
You will hold professional qualifications.
You will hold current security clearance.
You will have excellent communication skills - written and oral.
