Project Manager: Contract, Plymouth, Duration: at least 6-months, Rate: c£45 per hour Ltd

The Role:
Babcock Marine are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the team at HMNB Devonport, Plymouth to manage and control delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects with individual packages including infrastructure improvements, construction services, demolitions and site establishment amongst others.

Duties will involve:
Development of Plans, schedules and control of work information for defined packages,  integrating with the wider project(s).
To develop, monitor, forecast and report against the baseline schedule and estimate.
Manage customer interfaces and stakeholder management.
Ensure the project is planned and managed in a safe and appropriate manner.

The Candidate:
Must hold at least five years’ experience working in project management, with proven experience managing project teams and running multi-million-pound projects
Must be degree qualified in an engineering related discipline, and hold chartered status with a relevant accredited body and will ideally hold APM (or equivalent) qualification.
Demonstrable experience and knowledge of engineering works, e.g. civil works,  mechanical or electrical systems / services in nuclear or conventional markets
It will be desirable to hold a further post graduate qualification e.g. MBA
SC clearance is strongly desirable and the candidate must be eligible for at least this level of clearance if not currently held.
