Senior Project Manager – Construction: 12Months+ Contract; Newbury; c£70.0/ hour plus Ltd
KEY Skills: NEC3, ChPP, APM, PRINCE2, MSP, IOSH, IEMA, NEBOSH, EPC, Security Clearance, SC


The Role:
Senior Project Manager required to operate/manage at an advanced level to manage a significant and complex major Construction Project within the Nuclear Sector.

Duties will include: 
You will Lead on Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality within the project.
You will be responsible for the delivery of the project to the baseline schedule/cost and performance in line with the project and business success criteria.
You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining governance arrangements for the delivery of the project, defining clear roles, responsibilities and accountabilities that align with the company Business Management System.
You will be accountable for planning and monitoring the programme (profit & loss); agreeing plans with the Sponsor and the submission/presenting of regular Monthly Review Reports indicating any deviations and actions.
Management of the Customer Interface and associated management of the project including identification and monitoring of project risks (threats and opportunities), planning and implementing response to these and responding to other issues that affect the project.

The Candidate: 
You will be an experienced Project Manager with significant experience of (min 10 years’) Project Management experience and 3 years in leadership functions; on, multi- disciplined, highly complex Construction projects.
In addition, you will have demonstrable experience of the following: Conflict management, Contract management, Requirements management, Schedule Management and stake holder management. 
 You will be qualified to Degree/HNC level in an appropriate discipline or have appropriate and significant level of experience.
You will ideally be APM (PMQ) qualified or equivalent project management Institute qualification preferably to Chartered Project Professional level (ChPP).
You will have experience of working for an EPC or EPCM (Engineer-Procure-Construct) organization and have experience of managing a supply chain with and a track record of delivering complex Multi-Disciplined projects. 
You will have strong proven Project Management and Commercial Management experience including a good knowledge of the NEC3 option A and/or C contracts.
