Project Manager; 9 month contract in London – Project Management of Sewage Network

The Role:
As Project Manager you will be responsible for managing the contract and ensuring safe execution of the works, providing Project Management of Sewage Network and H&S management of water construction. The role will involve reviewing of contractor plans, managing the safety on site and managing the works quality and any testing and defects remedial work. You will be responsible for management of time including the acceptance of the contractors programme and methods of working. You will manage risk, maintenance of a risk register and the execution and management of project early warning notices. As Project Manager you will ensure the NEC Supervisor and Contractor fulfil their obligations under the NEC contract.

The Candidate:
You will be a Project Manager with Civil Engineering education with corresponding membership of professional bodies preferred.
You must have previous experience of Project Management and related H&S Management in the UK Water Industry/Construction Industry.
You will be able to understand extensive sewerage network diagrams and the impact of any temp changes to that system.
You will have excellent communication skills, numerical skills and ability to multi task with limited supervision.
You will have experience in the management of multiple sites.
TWUL Safety Passport Training is desirable.
SMSTS course or similar is preferred.
