Project Manager - Aircraft: Contract, Bristol, Duration: 6-months, Rate: £390/day umbrella

The Role:
The MoD’s Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S) division require a seasoned Project Manager to work on the Platform Capability Upgrade project for their Britten-Norman Defender/Islander multi-role aircraft.

Duties will involve:
As a Project Manager you will be responsible for;
Drive forward the project working closely with the existing team. Liaise with Industry, DE&S Commodity Teams and other stakeholders to develop the requirement and technical solution
Support the generation of the approvals and assurance evidence including Review Note/ Business Case as required
Deliver supporting documentation to establish the project management baseline, particularly in support of DE&S Transformation.

The Candidate:
The client is searching for someone whom has a proven track record as a confident project manager delivering complex technical projects to challenging timescales with the following additional skills and experience:
Baseline understanding of the science and technology requirements necessary for successful project delivery
Solid budgeting and resource allocation
Ideally have worked on aircraft upgrade projects within the defence sector.
Additionally, you MUST HAVE:
Current SC clearance
APM, PRINCE2 and/or Agile Method e.g. Scrum
