The Role:
Dstl’s Chemical, Biological and Radiological (CBR) division requires an experienced Project Management professional to ensure their highly technical projects are delivered as per required time, quality and cost constraints. The CBR division provides both short-term consultancy parallel to longer term research with the overall goal of supporting both front-line command and the wider Government needs.
 
Duties will involve:
As a Project Manager you will be responsible for;
Designing, planning, and implementing projects which delivers the desired outputs, set out in the Project Mandate.
Identifying, managing and mitigating the project risks (Technical, Financial, Commercial, Health and Safety, Environmental, Security).
Engaging with external stakeholders to establish the most appropriate and effective solution for Dstl.
 
The Candidate: 
The client is searching for someone whom has a proven track record as a confident project manager delivering complex technical projects to challenging timescales with the following additional skills and experience:
·Baseline understanding of the science and technology requirements necessary for successful project delivery
·Solid budgeting and resource allocation
·Understanding of Dstl’s business model
·Ideally hold a degree or above relevant to the CBR field
Additionally, you MUST HAVE:
·Current SC or Enhanced SC clearance
·APM, PRINCE2 and/or Agile Method e.g. Scrum
·
