The Role: 
Clients Engineer/Project Manager (Construction) to join the MoD Infrastructure team at Portsmouth.
You will take a lead role in the management and delivery of MOD Construction and Infrastructure projects from concept stage to the transfer of completed facilities.

Duties will include: 
Reviewing requirements and preparation of feasibility assessments. 
Engaging and managing suppliers to deliver construction projects to agreed time, cost and quality parameters including MOD intelligent customers. 
Appraisal of contractor's proposals to ensure value for money solutions. 
Act as the MOD focal point for resolution of all construction technical issues. 
Act in the role of Client for CDM Regulations. 
Ensure compliance with all MOD and Statutory Regulations. 
Collaborate with Commercial colleagues to identify the optimum construction procurement strategy. Provide regular management reports and returns to required timescales, standards and produce exception reports as necessary. 
  
The Candidate: 
You will be an experienced Project Manager (Construction). You will have experience of working client side and will have extensive stakeholder/end user management experience. 
You will be qualified to HNC/degree and will be a member of a relevant Institution. Chartered Status is desirable
You will ideally be a Member of Association of Project Management Professionals (APMP).
Current SC Clearance is desirable.
