Project Manager – Construction – c12mth Contract rate to £375.0/day - East Anglia

The Role: 
Project Manager – Construction; to work for the MoD Defence Infrastructure Organisation responsible for the delivery of infrastructure capital projects for the Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter aircraft. 
You will be responsible for the delivery of option studies, tender and construction documentation, managing risks in order to drive optimal delivery for the MoD.

Duties will include: 
Management of Contractors for assigned projects (including PSP and Framework Contractors).
Responsible for engaging with Users, RM, IPs and other DIO functional areas in order to contribute to the effective development of assigned projects.
Ensure compliance with all MOD and statutory regulations and DIO processes with appropriate governance and management controls.
Provide SME construction, estate and project delivery advice and support.
Responsible for financial management and reporting of delegated projects IAW policy including supporting the scrutiny process and the development of project business cases.
Project and performance reporting and risk mitigation activities for assigned areas of responsibility.
Deputise for the Principal Project Manager as required

The Candidate: 
You will be a qualified Client Project Manager – Construction/Infrastructure experience and will and will be qualified to HNC/HND level; with the usual Project Management Qualifications, i.e.  APMP or similar PM qualification
