Project Manager - Construction; 5mths Contract; £Negotiable; Peterborough

The Role:
Project Managers; required to join a team working on MoD / USVF (United States Visiting Forces) projects to project manage the delivery of one or more projects through the design and delivery stages.
Role is based at Peterborough with site visits to either RAF Lakenheath or RAF Wyton
SC Level Clearance is required for this role.
Duties will include:
You will be responsible for ensuring that the projects are correctly scoped and that deliverables are clearly communicated.
Ensuring that key parameters of cost, time and quality are measured, reported against and action taken to mitigate deficiencies.
You will lead design and supply chain project initiation meetings and subsequent progress meetings reporting on performance in accordance with the reporting standards and timescales, rectifying deficiencies in deliverables.
You will liaise and work with the DIO (Defence Infrastructure Organization) Commercial and Procurement teams to deliver the projects within the agreed project parameters.
Lead change control on projects, gaining agreement with commercial managers and administer the change control process.
Liaise with the Programme CDM Representative and act upon advice provided to ensure that project and supply chain CDM and Health and Safety compliance matters are satisfactorily discharged and/or adhered to.
You will undertake review of all sites/locations with supply chain partners and working with the DIO Base teams and DIO/PSP Technical Lead to guide and advise on design and delivery solutions.
Provide clear direction, working with the PSP Technical Leads and Technical Authority Advisor, to supply chain teams to ensure that the most appropriate design solutions are identified.
Lead design option workshops to seek the most appropriate solution for assets and solutions.
Work with the NEC Supervisors to ensure that the necessary quality and CDM standards are met and making sure that deficiencies are rectified. 

The Candidate: 
You will be an experienced Project Manager – Construction and hold a recognised PM qualification APM or Prince2.
Previous experience of working with the MoD DIO (Defence Infrastructure Organisation) or the USVF (United States Visiting Forces) is highly desirable. 
SC level Clearance is required for this role.
