The Role:
Project Manager – Construction/Building required to join the MoD (Ministry of Defence) Defence Infrastructure Organisation to provide Construction advice. 

Will undertake the client function for SCA contract including Lead and direct SCA, Quality, check output and Embed and implement signed of strategic recommendations, whilst reporting on progress.
Key Deliverables within this role will be to Plan and progress track for construction work. 
Provide documented advice as to the requirements and obligations in the development of an infrastructure solution. 
Provision of Documented input to meetings on construction matters and updated records of building information requirements, Documented input to Information Request Schedules, Documented input to sub-contractor proposals and procurement schedules, Documented input to 
Quality Statements for each job and Documented input to the appointment of subcontractors and the review of subcontractor invoices. 
Provide reports from reviews of subcontractor work relating to compliance with Design Brief / Tenders / Statutory Requirements, CDM Regulations and budget targets and Documented quality assurance procedures relating to construction. 
Provision of Monthly status reports and reports on Planning, Building Regulations, CFSH and BREEAM matters. 
Provide waste management strategies, Aspect and impact surveys in accordance with DIO’s Environmental Policy and control mechanisms, reporting on extension of time issues. 
Provide Input to Drawing and Document Registers. 

The Candidate: 
You will be an experienced Project Manager qualified to degree/HND level Degree in Construction Management or be a CIOB or hold a building management qualification.
+10 years post-graduate industry experience.
You will be a Member of a relevant body such as MCIOB, (Chartered Institute of Building), MRICS.
Due to the nature of the work and duration candidates need to hold current SC clearance.
