Construction Project Manager: 6 Months+ Contract; Andover; Rate: £405.0/day (Umbrella)

The Role:
The MoD’s Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) requires a Strategic Construction Advisor/Project Manager to assist in the delivery of their Commercial Infrastructure Delivery Plan (CIDP) which represents major works and upgrades to the infrastructure and facilities of key military sites within the South-West. This project is valued at £95m and requires delivery before the end of FY2018-2019.

Duties will involve:
The Strategic Construction Advisor will;
Undertake the client function for SCA contract, lead & direct SCA and provide quality check output.
Embed and implement signing of strategic recommendations whilst reporting on progress.
Provide reports from reviews of subcontractor work relating to compliance with Design Brief / Tenders / Statutory Requirements, CDM Regulations and budget targets and Documented quality assurance procedures relating to construction.
Provision of Monthly status reports and reports on Planning, Building Regulations, CFSH and BREEAM matters.
Plan and progress tracker for construction work. 
Provide documented advice as to the requirements and obligations in the development of an infrastructure solution.

The Candidate: 
You will have current Security Check (SC) clearance as well as;
A construction management degree or building management qualification.
Be a member of a relevant body such as CIOB or RICS.
