The Role: 
Project Manager required to manage the In-Service Support of the CVR (Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance) (T) AFV platform.  You will be responsible for leading and developing a mixed team of MOD Civilians, Service Personnel and Contractor Staff. 

Duties will include: 
Through life management of the CVR (T) fleet until it’s OSD of 2026. 
Direct and deliver the cost effective procurement of new and replacement equipments, updates, upgrades, spares, repairs, publications and special tools and test equipment. 
Development and direction of equipment specific support policies and plans.
Manage and deliver the Base Overhaul Programme for CVR (T) in line with the agreed annual outputs. 
Co-ordinate with other staff branches and agencies including: Cap (GM), Front Lines Commands and Contractors. 
Exercise delegated financial authorities for procurement, PDS tasking and line management. Delegation approx £0.3M, annual budget approx £20M.
 
The Candidate: 
You will be an experienced Project Manager qualified to HND/Degree level in engineering.
You will ideally have PRINCE 2 and hold the Association for Project Management Professional (APMP) or any other Project or Programme Management qualification.
You will ideally also have a background working in a Defence organisation or environment
