Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side DSTL - MOD Defence in order to recruit a Project Manager to work on a 12 month contract in Porton Down Salisbury.
As a Project Manager your duties/responsibilities will include:
The Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) finds and funds exploitable innovation to support UK Defence and Security mission quickly and effectively, and support UK prosperity. DASA has four teams, Outreach, Operations, Partnership & Impact and Support Services. The ECS capability is a Salesforce cloud-based service which is managed within Support Services, delivering competition management and Customer/Stakeholder Relationship Management (S/SRM). It is central to DASA business operations.

The Enterprise Collaboration Service PM (ECSPM) is accountable for the definition, coordination, direction and assurance of the ECS work package, within the broader DASA Operations project. The PM is responsible for the delivery of the work package in accordance with the Project Mandate.

They ensure that the work package operates within the agreed performance, quality, time and cost envelope and adheres to corporate processes.  They work closely with the Operations PM, ECS implementation team and Programme Manager (PgM) the latter of which will oversee the generation of project goals and monitoring project performance. 

Existing knowledge of best practice in the delivery of Government IT projects, including Government Digital Services (GDS) and system accreditation procedures.
•The ability to manage and influence stakeholders, including contracted resource to ensure successful project outcomes.
•Experience with complex business case generation.
•Experience of working with Commercial capability and frameworks.
•A strong desire to deliver outputs for Defence through Science and Technology.
•A passion for innovation.
In this role you will:
•Deliver the ECS work package to time, cost and quality.
•Monitor and report work package performance, finance, risks and issues.
•Support DASA Operations project plan development – which will include defining the delivery and milestone schedule, governance framework (including monitoring and control regime), stakeholder engagement, risk and issue management, technical quality and assurance, information management, resourcing and procurement plan. 
•Working with Leadership staff to define the demand on S&T capability – addressing capability requirements and resource demands using flexible contracting mechanisms.
•Deliver and maintain Government Digital Services accreditation of the ECS platform in conjunction with the ECS implementation team and contracted resource.
•Working with functional specialists e.g. Finance, Commercial, Health and Safety etc. to ensure work is conducted in accordance with Dstl Policy, processes legal and regulatory.

Candidate:
You will be an experience IT Project Manager.
5-10 years experience in a similar role.
