Project Manager - Nuclear Lab Refurbishment: Contract, Dounreay, Duration: at least 12-months, Rate: £380/day Ltd plus £75/day travel/subsistence

The Role:
Dounreay Site Restoration Ltd (DSRL) are looking for a Project Manager whom possesses specific experience related to the refurbishment of on-site laboratory facilities.

Duties will involve:
Creating, implementation and maintenance of lifetime plans and strategies for the project considering analysis of dependencies and constraints, scope, risks and assumptions
Management of the Project Team
Interactions with the customer and provision of all reports required under the contract
Expediting safe project delivery to the satisfaction of internal and external stakeholders
Monitoring and reporting on internal and contractor performance against safety, costs, programme and quality, identification of deviations and implementation of remedial actions as appropriate
Reviewing and reporting on identified problems and incidents, establishing causes and identifying, recommending and implementing solutions
Managing the preparation, approval and issue of technical specifications through review to implementation
Supporting the Senior Project Manager/Project Director in the delivery of projects/programmes of work and sanction approvals
Performing the responsibilities of Management Appointments relevant to the post.

The Candidate:
2 years’ Contract Management and 5 years’ Nuclear/Industrial project management experience.
Must have refurbishment experience of either Labs, clean-room factories or large hospitals.
Science/Engineering HND or equivalent qualifications.
Experience in construction, pipework, windows, ventilation and fume cupboards.
Industrial Safety Training.
CITB card.
Be eligible for BPSS or higher clearance.
