Project Manager: 6 month contract, to £540.00 / day - Cambridgeshire

The Role:
Project Manager (Property / Estates / Infrastructure); to join the MoD defence infrastructure team to manage property, infrastructure and related services and to ensure the strategic management of the Defence Estate.
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of infrastructure capital projects for the overseas team working typically on the Permanent Joint Operating Bases and the Overseas Training Estate.

Duties Will Include:
The delivery of option studies, tender and construction documentation and managing risks in order to drive optimal delivery for the MOD.
The management of contractors for assigned projects, including framework contractors.
Providing SME construction, estate and project delivery advice and support.
Responsible for accurate financial management and reporting of delegated projects IAW policy including supporting the scrutiny process and the development of project business cases.
Responsible for project and performance reporting and risk mitigation activities for assigned areas of responsibility.
Deputising for the Area Project Manager as required.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Project Manager with experience of managing capital projects on property, estates, infrastructure and related services.
Your experience will include development of option studies, tenders, construction documentation and the management of subcontractors.
In addition, you will have experience of risk management.
NB. SC level clearance is required for this role.

As per the amended intermediaries’ legislation (IR35); this assignment is deemed to be a Public Sector off Payroll Assignment inside IR35 for Tax and NI.
This assignment therefore can only be offered via; a tax compliant Umbrella Company or on a PAYE basis.
