The Role:
Project Manager working within the Type 45 Strategic Class Authority (SCA), and play a pivotal role in delivering our safe, available, and sustainable complex Warship programme within Ships Operating Centre.
As a Project Manager for the Power Improvement Project (PIP) you will be responsible for providing P3M support during a period of unprecedented change in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
You will be an individual who has a strong project background and a thorough understanding of P3M principles.
PIP is a key component of Project NAPIER that together with the Equipment Improvement Plan (EIP) will update the
T45 Power and Propulsion System to deliver long term availability improvements and operational benefits.
The role will focus on P3M (Project, Program, Portfolio Management), managing the interfaces with wider T45 and Warship support change programmes as well as with NCHQ and industry.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Project Manager having worked on MOD projects. (Ships, Frigates, Tpye 45, Submarine etc).
You will be security cleared.
Project Manager qualified to HND/Degree level in engineering.
Likely to have PRINCE 2 and hold the Association for Project Management Professional (APMP) or any other Project or Programme Management qualification.
