The Role:
Our client is within part of the MOD and they are looking for a Project Planner to work on a contract basis for an initial period of 9months based in Corsham.
The role sits within Interoperability Services and Gateways (ISG) within ISS. ISG have a series of projects to enable UK MOD to communicate with national and international partners. 
Project schedulers will assist in the successful delivery of ISG Projects.

Duties to include:
To create and maintain programme and project level schedules in Project 2016/ Project online.  
Produce and maintain Integrated Master Schedules, when required.  
Provide advice to PMs on technical aspects of Project 2016, as required.  
Work with PMs to ensure regular Project 2016 Schedule reviews take place, and update Project 2016 Schedules within 2 working days of each review.  
Work with the Dependency Manager to ensure dependencies are captured in Project 2016/Project Online.  
Ensure compliance with ISS planning and scheduling policies, including delivery of schedules to the quality level demanded by the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office.  
Act as the programme and project planning SME.  
Act as the Project 2016 /project Online SME.  
Provide basic knowledge transfer to PMs of planning and Project 2016 scheduling techniques, as required.  
Work with PMs to identify and capture risks, and update the Active Risk Manager tool (ARM) accordingly.  
Undertake regular risk reviews with PMs and update ARM within 2 working days of each review.  
Ensure compliance with ISS risk management policies.  

The Candidate:
You MUST be a British National (NO Dual).
You will be an Project Planner with Project 2016 experience.
Ideally you will have previous MOD experience.
You will have an understanding of PD methodologies, processes, tools and techniques gained in working on change initiatives.
You will need strong stakeholder management, communication (oral and written), financial, information management and data analysis skills.
