Project Planning Engineer; 6 Months+ Contract; Manchester; Rate c£40.0/ hour Ltd

The Role:
Our client, a leading multi-disciplinary process engineering consultancy requires a Project Planning Engineer to support the design and build of a new manufacturing facility in Yorkshire.
Preference for an immediate start.

Duties will involve:
The successful candidate will coordinate and provide planning expertise on the design, procurement, sub-contractor works, testing and commissioning of the customer’s new manufacturing line.
You’ll provide information to the project manager, enabling accurate project planning, including providing detail of work packages, breakdown of tasks and estimates of the scale of the work required to complete the project to time, cost and quality stipulations.
The role is based out of the client’s Manchester office, some periodic travel to site will be required.

The Candidate: 
Ideally, you’ll possess;
HND or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering or related subject
Experience of chemical / process engineering / manufacturing project planning
Flexibility, enthusiasm, self-motivated and able to work well under own initiative
Able to build long-term successful client partnerships, both internally and externally
Able to negotiate and influence others
Decision-making / problem solving skills
Strong presentation skills, confident speaker and professionally presented.
