Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side Babcock/Cavendish in order to recruit a Task Library Planning Project Engineer on a 6 month contract at Stoke Gifford BS16.
As a Project Planning Engineer your duties and responsibilities will include:

The Task Library is a new concept which seeks to develop a single source of maintenance information that enables rapid generation of advanced plans and bills of materials well in advanced of individual maintenance periods.
As the Task Library Senior Project Engineer, you, will work within a small team to develop, verify and mature maintenance information to populate the Task Library. You will work flexibly alongside the Advance Planning Team to develop the Task Library information that can be used in an efficient and enduring way to aid a standardised approach to maintenance period planning.
As the Task Library is a novel concept you will be required to inform and influence the development of the method of operations, data model and its content to maximise efficient maintenance period advanced planning.
Under the guidance of the Task Library Technical Lead you will work alongside the Advanced Planning team to using your engineering knowledge and experience, to resolve any ambiguities within these activities whilst ensuring that all work requirements are clearly defined and achievable. This will require regular liaison with a variety of stakeholders to ensure accuracy and achievement of the required quality to satisfy our exacting customer. The role will be carried out in accordance with the attached TORRs.

Candidate:
As the Task Library Senior Project Engineer, you will have an engineering qualification eg degree or HNC/HND or demonstrable relevant experience, at least 5 years’ experience in engineering delivery and a good knowledge of submarine or surface ship operations and maintenance activities.
Ideally, you will have experience in managing and running submarine maintenance activities and have previously qualified as a submarine Marine Engineering Department Category B or Category A watchkeeper.
• The work will be based in Bristol (Babcock Technology Centre, Filton) but will require occasional travel around the Bristol area and to both Plymouth and Helensburgh. Remote working is available dependent upon experience.
